when I choose the options to apply a quick filter using the Owner + Members (good) filter, I see the "only from" radio button get set and the names appear in the bottom box for the delivery restrictions.  I then hit apply and ok.  when I go back and check on these settings, the filter still shows the "owner + Members" , the "from everyone" radio button is selected and the names are no longer listed in the "only from" section.  Also, when I run a smartreport for  lists with no delivery restrictions, this group shows up on the report.  Is this a know issue?

Can you tell exactly where do you apply the quick filter Owner+Member ?

sure... go to Properties of the group, Exchange General tab. In the middle of the window is "accept messages" and in that section is "apply a security quick filter".  I am running version 4.0.1257.18

This looks like a bug in SmartDL.

What happens when you manually add owner and members after selecting the "Only from" option.  Does that work for you?

 

it will only allow me to add individual users. I can't add the group to restrict it to the members.

Is that group a part of a dynasty?
