DTM Oracle-AD sync via EmployeeNumber extremely slow

My source is a HR system on an Oracle database and the destination is AD. I've populated AD's EmployeeNumber from our HR database.  Now I;ve set up a job to update title & dept using EmployeeNumber as the key and it's extremely slow.  There's about 800 records total in HR.  It takes about a minute to update 1 or 2 records!  Is this normal?  The job eventually completes and is correct.  Any ideas anyone, please?

    Hi Henrychan,

There are a number of ways to improve DTM performance.

You can use command prompt to run the DTM job.

To know more about running DTM jobs through command prompt, see this post:

You can also remove log files of previously run jobs that may be slowing down DTM.

I don't believe the EmployeeNumber attribute in AD is indexed. You can update the EmployeeNumber attribute in Active Directory so that it is indexed (details on how to do this can be found on the Microsoft web site).
