PRB: DTM creates mail-enabled user instead of a mailbox-enabled user in Exchange 2007
This article applies to:
· DTM 3.0
Symptom:
Mailboxes created by DTM will appear as either a contact or Legacy Exchange Mailbox when created on Exchange 2007.
Cause:
This problem is caused because of some missing attributes in the DTM source. These attributes are:
msExchRecipientDisplayType msExchRecipientTypeDetails msExchVersion msExchHomeServerName HomeMTA HomeMDB
Workaround:
To work around the issue, the values of these attributes are statically assigned by using the “Static transform” option on the field mapping page of DTM. The values of these attributes are different in every environment. To get correct values of your environment, please use the tool ADSIEdit.msc to find these values from an existing Exchange 2007 mailbox and copy them.
