ERR: Invalid character in the given encoding. Line 7, position 15 is displayed when logging into WebDir

|
Symptom
When you attempt to change a field name to include a foreign character in the web client (for example: Department to Départment), you will receive the error message above when logging into WebDir. The error is caused by the strings.xml file being saved in ANSI Encoding format, which does not support foreign characters when using XML format.
Workaround
To work around the issue, save the strings.xml file using Encoding format UTF-8, which does support foreign characters for XML format files.
Status
Imanami has confirmed this to be an issue with the above referenced product.
