Add additional fields to Excel Dump from a search

I have a "wildcard" search virtual webpage that i use frequently.

When my search returns the results i need, i "send to excel". How do I get what is sent to excel to include other fields, like Cuastom attributes, cn, etc?

How do I make that a default fo all my pages?

If I can do that with "standard" AD attributes, will it allow me to do so with "custome" attributes?

The "Send to Excel" feature exports all of the attributes displayed in the search results.  To change what attributes are exported to Excel, you need to change what attributes are returned in the search results.  You can do this in the Design node of System Manager.  Select the Search Forms tab.  Ther are three search forms:

Default - used when you click Search from the left hand toolbar and use the search box in the top right hand corner of the screen
Recipients - used when you search for members to add to a group and/or searching for a manager
Groups - used when you select Search Groups from the left hand toolbar

Select the appropriate search form and click Edit.  You can modify the search results including attributes displayed and order of display.  WebDir has dynamic schema detection so custom attributes will be available to you.

    Hope this helps!

Modifying the view itself isn't practical, especially if you want to add quite a number of attributes.

In future versions, it would be nice if the "Sent to Excel" feature would prompt us for what fields we wanted to export.
