 We are thinking about creating the Distribution lists with GroupID selfService.

Is there a way to do corrections in the requests the users are placing ?

somethime there is a need to correct name or location before aproving it  ..

Hi,

GroupID Self-Service has a feature called 'Workflows' located in the Server node.  You can set up individual fields in workflows, and specify approvers for those fields.  Any changes made to those fields will require approval from specified approvers before they are saved.

I mean if the requestor is makign a mistake.  Is ther a way to corect it before aproval?

Approver cannot edit the mistake.  The approver can deny the request and add a note to tell the reason for denial.  That note will be sent to the requestor in the request denial email.
