We need to automatically create security groups and not just distribution lists using dynasty? Is this possible?

As far as I know, it is not possible to automate creation of Security Groups.  When you are creating a new dynasty and if the security groups option is greyed out, it means it is impossible to automate security groups based on dynasties.

Yes, SmartDL does support security group dynasties when both Active Directory and Exchange are functioning in Native mode.  Please check the functional mode in your environment to ensure this is the case.
