This article applies to:

Symptom:
When importing a large number of objects (e.g. 100,000 or more) through DTM jobs causes DTM to crash.
Cause:
DTM crashed under such circumstances due to heavy load, especially when running jobs from DTM’s GUI.
Workaround:
There are two ways to workaround this problem:
1. Split jobs into multiple identical jobs to reduce the number of records per job, e.g. split jobs to one job per letter of the alphabet.
2. Run jobs via a batch file in the command-line rather than via DTM’s GUI. For more details on running jobs from command line, see the knowledge base article here:
