Symptom

·         When the server on which the domain exist, is experiencing an overload.

Cause

When searching for members to add to a group from a domain on a second or different forest.

Workaround

.

 Quick way to add members from cross forest domain would be to set direct access criteria on webdir administrator interface.

 Please follow the steps to change directory settings in order to access members on the domain you are having issues:

Ø  Open WebDir Service Manager

Ø  Select your virtual Server from the left pane

Ø  Click on Directory tab

Ø  Change User name setting to

Domain name(the one you are trying to access)\administrator
