Hello Jonas,
The send to Excel option uses the "Search Forms" tab of the design node to determine the fields displayed in the Excel export. Search forms do not have access levels to determine what is displayed when a search or export to Excel is performed. I will add your request to the WebDir wishlist for consideration in a future release of the product. In the meantime, you can remove the field from the search page that you do not want visible to WebDir users by:
1. Opening the WebDir System Manager console
2. Click on the "Design" node under the virtual server name.
3. Select the "Search Forms" tab.
4. Click on the "Default" option in the Windows. Then click on the "Edit" button.
5. Remove the hidden field under the "Search Results" and "Search Form" windows by highlighting the field and clicking on the "Remove" button. Then click on the "OK" button to close the dialog box.
6. Click on the "Floppy" disk (or use File->Save from the menu) displayed in the WebDir System Manager console to save the change.
7. Log into WebDir.
