    OK, users now appearing in Exchange but with no ExternalEmailAddress/primary SMTP address set.

    We're getting closer.  Need to load the Exchange RUS Helper assembly:

    [Reflection.Assembly]::Load("C:\ImanamiRUSBuild3\Imanami.Exchange2007.RecipientUpdateService.dll")

    NOW call the script.

    Are you creating mail-enabled users or mailbox-enabled users?  If you want to create mailbox-enabled users you must remove targetAddress from the DTM job.  If you want to create mail-enabled users then you must remove homemdb, usedefaults, etc.

    Also, email should be removed.  Exchange 2007 will generate the email address.

    is there a mechanism for loading the RUS Helper assembly?

    All seems to be working now. I will test this over the next day or so.
