Fatal error when entering license number

    Hello all,

I'm getting a fatal error when putting in my license number. It happens right after I paste it. I have tried reinstalling, uninstalling and reinstalling, rebooting.

The server is a 64-bit virtual server. .NET is running 64-bit, WebDir's running 32-bit. I'm not sure if that will cause problems.

Here is the error log (which I did send to support@imanami.com, but haven't got a response as of yet):

Re: Fatal error when entering license number

This is a known issue.  The licensing dll doesn't support 64-bit OS, therefore WebDir 4.0 doesn't support 64-bit.  You can run on another 32-bit OS running on another machine or create a 32-bit VM on the 64-bit machine (using Virtual Server).  WebDir 5.0 will support 64-bit operating systems.

WebDir 4.0 does support 64-bit machines provided they are running a 32-bit OS.

Any idea how far off 5.0 is?

Is there no workaround at the moment?

Re: Fatal error when entering license number

The only workaround at the moment is to install on a 32-bit VM or another machine that is running 32-bit Windows.  5.0 is early Q12008.
