Is it possible to set up an Imported DL that looks for a csv file on share and updates itself on a daily basis?

The "share" part is the tricky part of that question.  While I have not tried it, I think you should be able to do this as long as you change the credentials on the scheduled task (within windows) or change the account the Scheduler service runs under to a user that has permissions to the share.  By default, SmartDL's jobs run under the System Account, and SmartDL connects to the directory using the credentials suplied in the job.

I am doing that now and it appears to be working well.

I took it a step further to allow my users the ability to "Copy" a file to the share where SMartDL 4.0 looks.

I have of course instructed my users to name the file, exactly the same and to agree to overwrite the file when prompted.

I have the entire "Manual uploaded Jobs" OU scheduled to update daily, so if a new file is there, it will use it to update.

I have found that minimizing the columns of data that the user file contains is best practice,
