CAUSE
The OProfile signature feature is limited to 255 characters per line.
RESOLUTION
To specify a signature longer than 255 characters, break the signature into seperate lines by pressing enter.
For example, this signature is too long:
[Signature] Name=My Signature Line1=PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or privileged material. Any review, retransmission, dissemination or other use of, or taking of any action in reliance upon, this information by persons or entities other than the intended recipient is prohibited. If you receive this transmission in error, please contact the sender immediately and delete the material from any computer.
Break the signature into separate lines (use notepad to edit the OProfile.ini - the signature information is at the bottom):
[Signature] Name=My Signature Line1=PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or privileged material. Line2=Any review, retransmission, dissemination or other use of, or taking of any action in reliance upon, this information by persons or entities other than the intended recipient is prohibited. Line3=If you receive this transmission in error, please contact the sender immediately and delete the material from any computer.
